Privacy Policy

Your records belong to you.

Effective August 4, 2026

Overview

Lawn Equipment Manager is designed to organize equipment, maintenance, parts, customers, service work, and invoices. We do not sell personal information, serve third-party ads, or use your activity for cross-app tracking.

Information you choose to store

The app stores information you enter, such as equipment and asset identifiers, operating hours, photos, manuals, notes, parts inventory, customer details, service records, business information, logos, and invoices. Custom equipment and part categories are stored with the workspace. This information is used to provide the features you request.

iCloud and shared workspaces

App data may be stored in Apple iCloud using CloudKit so it can sync across your Apple devices. When a workspace owner invites staff, workspace data is placed in CloudKit shared records available to accepted participants. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple’s terms and privacy policies. Supported categories, manuals, pictures, and related workspace records may be included in private or shared sync.

Device permissions

You can change permissions at any time in system Settings.

On-device intelligence and system indexing

On supported devices, Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework may analyze readable text from a manual you choose to identify equipment details, maintenance intervals, storage tasks, and troubleshooting steps. Image-based manuals may be converted to text with on-device OCR. Source page references are retained so the app can open cited instructions. You review suggested details before a new equipment record is created. The app may also extract the manual's cover as a suggested picture. Equipment and parts may be indexed through Apple's App Intents and Spotlight frameworks so Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight can answer requests you initiate. This content remains subject to Apple's platform privacy and device settings.

Feedback

When you submit feedback, its category, summary, message, and—if you choose—app version, operating-system version, and device type are stored in the developer's CloudKit database. Equipment and customer records are not included in a feedback submission.

Subscriptions and entitlement validation

Purchases are processed by Apple; the app does not receive your payment card details. To validate Pro or Business access for shared workspaces, limited entitlement information—such as an App Store transaction identifier and a workspace identifier—may be sent to our Cloudflare service. It is used only to confirm access and enforce plan limits.

External links and lookups

If you use a supported shopping link or product lookup, the product identifier or link you provide may be sent to that website or lookup provider. Their privacy practices apply to information they receive.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. iCloud information may remain in your private or shared CloudKit database so it can restore on another device. You can delete records inside the app and manage iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud settings. Shared workspace owners control workspace membership and shared records. Entitlement records are retained only as needed to validate subscription access and operate the service.

Security and children

We use platform security features and reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Lawn Equipment Manager is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made. Questions about this policy can be submitted through the app’s public support page.
